International Arbitration

· Representation in an international construction arbitration conducted under the ICC Paris rules, in a dispute worth over €35 million, arising from a design and execution of works contract;
· Representation of a leading energy company in a consolidated procedure of 3 commercial arbitration cases, totalising €50 million, conducted under the rules of the Bucharest Court of International Arbitration;
· Representation of a prominent Romanian construction firm in DAB proceedings and subsequent arbitration concerning claims in the amount of RON 12 million arising from a FIDIC contract;
· Represented a leading heating installation and construction company in an ICC arbitration, seated in Geneva, involving claims of €9 million;
· Representation in a construction arbitration in Romania involving €5 million in dispute, regarding the performance and termination of a subcontract concluded under Romanian law and performed in a foreign state, conducted under the CICA-CCIR Rules of Arbitration;
· A CICA-CCIR arbitration concerning the design and modernization of a waste sorting – treatment plant, and the annulment of the Negative Public Procurement Certificate issued by the contracting authority for a contract of €14 million;
· Representation of the Respondent in a cross-border arbitration in Romania regarding the termination of a €13 million contract for sewer rehabilitation in Bucharest;
· Representation in a VIAC international arbitration against one of the top 10 state-owned companies in Romania, achieving for the client damages and penalties for the revocation of the mandate;
· Representation of the Claimant in the first procedure for Emergency Arbitrator in Romania granting the interim measure of suspension of €3 million payments due under a leasing contract;
· Represented a grain producer in a GAFTA arbitration concerning a 49 GAFTA standard form contract, worth €800,000.
