On January 17, 2025, the National Conference on Public Procurement took place in Bucharest. Mihai Ionescu-Balea, partner of Sarbu Partners, was invited as a speaker at the event, giving a presentation on the complications arising from the modification of tender documentation during the tender procedure. The presentation was based on a decision rendered by the CNSC, which raised the following issues: the modification of the Award Documentation; the legal value of the Execution Charts; and the Annulment of the procedure.
This was a remarkable event that emphasized the importance of collaboration and exchange of experience between lawyers, experts and professionals in the field and contributed to the promotion of transparent and efficient practices in the public procurement sector.
Our colleague’s presentation provided an ideal setting for open and in-depth discussions, both with the participants and with the other speakers, from which valuable insights of best practices in the field emerged.
